The Emerald Foundation is a community center where everyone is welcome and our diverse community can come together to meet and learn from one another.

Emerald Foundation’s own non-profit programming addresses unmet needs in the community:

“Access to Opportunities” – after school programming

This is an after school program designed to assist youth facing adversity in grades 2-4.

Occupational Training – for young adults with intellectual disabilities

Utilization of the building in collaboration with local schools to teach life skills such as cleaning, basic cooking, set up and tear down of events, mailings, etc., to young adults with disabilities.

Quarterly Executive Director “Meet and Greet” and “Lunch and Learn” prgrams

Focused on collaboration and sharing among executive directors of non-profits in the community.

Food Pantry for community – “Autumn’s Pantry”

Servicing 25-35 families twice a month; Partnership with Youth Advocate Program and Lititz Christian School.

“The E” Emerging Artist Series (Currently fine art with plans to expand to music and theater)

Feature monthly aspiring fine artist
Host an exhibit event / “meet and greet” the artist

“The E” Speaker/Forum/Vendor Series

“Diversity in the Classroom”; Parkinson’s symposium; Motivational speaker; Hope in the Addiction Epidemic; drug prevention (Collaboration with Caron); Vendor forums, etc.

“The E” Tech Program (pending)

3D animation, web design, video production, app development, basic computer skills class (seniors and refugees)

“The E” Electronic Sports Tournaments

“The E” Recreation Center

Basketball, soccer, tennis

Rock Steady Boxing at “The E”

Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum. For more information please email Sue Ludwig at sueludwig.personaltrainer@gmail.com.
