Enjoy a Thursday night filled with a Wine Pairing demonstration, a separate Cigar Lounge, Hors d’oeuvres, Open Bar, Buffet Dinner, Music, Dessert, Raffles, and Live/Silent Auctions inside the Emerald Foundation Community Campus
The Emerald Foundation needs your support. The funds raised from this 4E fundraiser will go towards our continued commitment to support underserved youth, address education stagnation, advance career exploration for students, respond to community needs and reduce rental rates for non-profits. The Emerald Foundation initiatives, Emerald Esports, Autumn’s Food Pantry, Sports Safety, Rise N’ Shine, Emerging Artists, and Operation Emerald could be further developed with new funding. The Emerald Foundation has proven it makes an impact in the Lancaster community and beyond with its ability to identify an unmet need, mobilize and make an immediate difference for those who need it most.
Your support through the purchase of a ticket, sponsorship, donation, or funding for the auction has a direct impact on the following:
- Advancing opportunities for all students to use Esports as a platform to acquire critical communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in work and in life.
- Providing a leg up to those suffering from food insecurity.
- Educating the public about the underserved needs of today’s traditional athlete.
- Providing aspiring artists an opportunity to exhibit artwork in a gallery setting and host a show inside the Emerald Lounge
The Emerald Foundation exists to promote a healthy and vibrant community. This non-profit focuses on supporting education, empowering youth, and promoting health and safety awareness by curating specialized programming to fit the unmet needs of Lancaster County. What is the purpose of this event?
Since moving the Emerald Foundation to a brick and mortar location in 2018, this is the first fundraiser the Emerald Foundation has had in its own facility (The Emerald Foundation Community Campus, 2120 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA). All proceeds will go directly to support the Foundation and its initiatives as well as other local programming such as the Lift Zone.
What is the Esports Exhibition?
Our Esports Exhibition is located on our 2nd floor in the new Emerald Esports Clubhouse. Stop in to observe the competitive atmosphere of a Rocket League Exhibition Match. As with traditional sports, esports competitors require the same amount of practice, dedication, teamwork, and critical thinking. We invite you to take a moment talk with students waiting for their next match to ask questions and get a first-hand account of how esports has made an impact in their lives. Emerald Esports staff will also be available for questions.
What is the Wine Pairing Demonstration?
A wine expert (sommelier) from a well known downtown restaurant will be discussing a range of wines, from white to red. During the demonstration there will be an explanation of the various wines, their basic characteristics as well as a recommendation of complementary food dishes that would enhance an overall dining experience. Both the wine and appetizers will be provided during the Wine Pairing Demonstration.
Do I need to pay for the Wine Pairing Exhibition?
No, it is included in your ticket price.
What is the Cigar Lounge?
The indoor Cigar Lounge is where you may come and enjoy a cigar or cigarette as well as a private open bar, while you relax and unwind after a long day of work. The Cigar Lounge is nestled in the gymnasium and is located down the hallway to the right side of the building entrance. The Cigar Lounge will be equipped with a smoke evacuation system in operation for the duration of the event. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building other than the Cigar Lounge.
Do I need to pay for food or drinks separately from the admission ticket?
No, it is included in your ticket price.
