Emerging Artist Series
Providing emerging artists with a forum to display their work, gain experience, confidence, and exposure.
Why Is It Important?
Students who have access to the arts in or out of school tend to have better academic results, better workforce opportunities, and more civic engagement. This program helps artists with tremendous passion and potential in their craft develop and grow by providing them with the support, resources, and platforms they need.
Adults who sometimes return to the arts after a different career have a great amount of passion and zeal but may need help reentering the arts community.
More About Our Mission
Emerald Foundation Community Campus hosts around 10-12 Art Shows a year. Each show will be displayed in the Fireside Lounge for 4-6 weeks. The show features either individual emerging artists, and/or a collaborative group of emerging artists. Every art show culminates in an artists’ reception.
Robert McKane Opening 1/27/23 @7p at the E
Join the Emerald Foundation in welcoming Robert McKane, a local Lancaster painter, into the E’s gallery space on the evening of Friday, January 27th from 7p to 9p. Meet the artist and view a body of his original acrylic abstract and landscape paintings. Light refreshments will be provided.
Community Voices
"The major milestone that really kickstarted my transition out of wedding photography was the chance to be an Emerging Artist at the E. Seeing family and friends show up to support my work was priceless."
