Non-Profit Reduced Rental Rates

We provide permanent office space at a reduced rate to a diverse group of national and local non-profits as well as competitively priced leased space to for-profit organizations.

Filling A Need

Unpredictable Market.

Surveys of major cities show that less than 20% of non-profits own their office space which makes them subject to the unpredictability of the commercial real estate market.

Savings On Overhead Costs.

Office space typically comprises as much as 20% of overhead costs at a national level which leaves non-profits that work with low-income communities who are particularly under-resourced.

Reinvestment In The Non-Profits.

Non-profit created facilities allow non-profits to invest in the communities and less on the for-profit real estate market.

Our Solution

The primary focus of the Emerald Foundation Community Campus is to support local and national non-profits by offering reduced-priced shared office, programming, meeting and event space.

Built On Partnership

We partner with institutions and individuals to create long-term solutions to the non-profit space and infrastructure crisis. The Emerald Foundation Community Campus has hosted over 60 non-profits that needed space for meetings, conferences, seminars, and fundraising events. By having so many non-profits working together within the campus, we are cultivating new ideas, learning from each other, and encouraging the sharing of space and resources between agencies.

We offer non-profits reduced rental fees for ballroom, conference room, café, tech center, and gym on an as-needed basis. Over 60 non-profits have rented space. Examples include:
• Youth Advocate Program (Weekly programming)
• Literacy Council (appreciation dinner)
• The Arch (educational meetings)
• Tommy Foundation (Fundraiser)
• San Juan Batista (Fundraiser)
• CASA (quarterly swearing-in ceremonies)
• Knights of Malta (presentation)
• Off the Streets (monthly board meetings)
• Special Olympics (volunteer recruiting event)
• Lancaster young professionals (mixer)
• Excentia (fundraiser)
• Kathy’s Circle of Friends – dances for adults with intellectual disabilities

Community Voices

"Finding something affordable for our rapidly-growing non-profit, K-PETS was a challenge. We were excited when things worked out to move here. We are thankful that they are 'pet-friendly' and allow our KPETS dogs to come to work with staff."

Executive Director, KPETS
