Leslie Turner Bures has passionately pursued different forms of creative expression most of her life. She received her degree in Architectural Interior Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta and from there went on to work for one of the largest architectural firms in the city.
After a few years of working in the design industry she decided to forge out on her own in a completely different direction. For the last 35 years, she has owned and operated a number of successful catering and special events business in both Atlanta and now in Central Pennsylvania.
All along she stayed connected to another one of her true loves…art!
“My art comes from my heart and is shared with the sole purpose of bringing a smile to someone. My design process typically begins with a simple idea and a single shape. From there, the artwork almost takes on a life of it’s own. It is always fun for me to see what emerges from the page in front of me.”
Leslie is now at a point in her career where she is stretching her creative boundaries. She is currently enrolled in a two year certification program to become a master meditation instructor. Her desire is to teach others through the art of “listening to their hearts” how to tap in to their own creative potential.
