Milzy Carrasco serves as Director of Development at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, playing a vital role in connecting the Church to the local community. Milzy assists in coordinating the Church’s community outreach, providing food, clothing and other necessities to neighbors in need. She also connects individuals and families with community resources relating to employment, safe and affordable housing and other urgent needs. The Church opens its doors to the community via a food pantry, partners with local companies for holiday gift/food drives and operates a pre-school and after school program that provides educational and character-building opportunities for local children.

Iglesia Católica San Juan Bautista is the only Hispanic parish in the Diocese of Harrisburg. Its mission is to provide pastoral care for Spanish-speaking persons and those of Hispanic heritage within Lancaster County. San Juan Bautista brings hope, resources and advocacy to the poor and most vulnerable among us regardless of faith, race, marital status or condition in life.

Prior to San Juan Bautista, Milzy played a key role in the development and management of Auction Inn, a pioneering non-profit/fundraising on-line Internet marketplace. She was part of the Auction Inn team that developed a unique jobs readiness program, building job skills for youth seeking first-time employment.
