Emerging Artist Program

As a child, Phoebe was raised in a household that celebrated and encouraged her creativity.  Phoebe’s interest in the arts was embraced and grew as she did. She was introduced to the medium of photography when she was thirteen years old.  She was gifted her mother’s camera and would assemble some of her greatest friends in her childhood back yard to take photos of them. This very early practice evolved and was polished into her love of portraiture and the act of beauty that touches her life.  During her time studying abroad in Rome, Italy, in the spring of 2018, she experienced growth personally and artistically. The Italian lifestyle and deeply rooted historical culture surrounding cuisine solidified her interest and pursuit of food photography. Not only is she looking to capture the beauty in the people with whom she surrounds herself, but the beauty within the food that nourishes them.

Phoebe is currently attending Tyler School of Art at Temple University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography.  She actively explores different mediums and processes within photography. Through her remaining years in school personal practice, Phoebe intends to expand her skill in these techniques and more.
